A bit about us...

The New England Shutter Company manufacture custom made plantation shutters to your exacting specifications.

When I started The New England Shutter Company, my objective was to make wooden shutters to the highest standard using techniques I had seen in the joinery industry. In response to clients requests the wooden shutters needed to be truly bespoke, rather than be restricted by manufacturing processes. I wanted to build each set of wooden shutters from start to finish for every individual client.

I set out to make custom made shutters that were crafted by carpenters using all species of joinery and quality grade woods. My aim was to design a wooden plantation shutter that was to look fine and elegant, yet stable, strong and robust, without looking too heavy.

Since establishing in 2002 I am delighted to say The New England Shutter Company is now the leading International designer and manufacturer of wooden shutters.

The New England Shutter Company now prides itself on being able offer a truly custom made service and relishes a challenge. I am proud to say, if it can be made of wood, we will make it.
