Our team of experienced carpenters recently fitted these Manhattan design painted shutters at the beautiful Sopwell House Hotel in St Albans.

American architecture firm Leroy Street Studios contacted TNESC with a request to manufacture large scale shutters. They had designed a new industrial home for an art collector in New York and three windows required shutters that were 6.2 metres high.  TNESC runs its own ethically managed joinery workshops and therefor has the capability to create such large scale shutters. We manufactured and shipped the shutters in three sections and constructed them on site. The New York design shutters were fitted throughout the building.

Our carpenters Hugh and Paul recently fitted these Manhattan design shutters in this beautiful bathroom in London, for our clients Oliver Bea Design.

We recently installed these beautiful shutters finished in distinctive distressed faux leather. Our carpenter Hugh worked with the client to design each element of the shutters; even the level of ‘distressing’ is tailored to the client’s needs for a totally custom made result.

Our New York design shutters fit perfectly in the contemporary design of this London home.  They have 99mm blades, in the Full Height style and colour matched to F&B Pavillion Grey.

We are excited to announce that our new design, the #Highline, is launched!  Featuring squared-off blades, these shutters look fabulous in games rooms and offices and are superb for covering large scale window openings.  The images below feature full height Highline shutters with 89mm blades manufactured in our joinery workshops from Solid American White Oak, stained with a smoked oak wash.
