We fitted these Manhattan shutters in a lovely kitchen in Fulham, London. On this bay window we included a split mechanism, to enable the top and bottom blades to open independently. This offers a great combination of privacy and light, and in this basement kitchen reflects plenty of light back into the room.
Shown: Manhattan design shutters with 89mm blades with arched panels above. Whether on a large scale or for smaller windows, Manhattan design shutters are the ideal choice for bathrooms, creating the perfect balance of light and privacy. For wet rooms and shower rooms we recommend Western Red Cedar painted in acrylic paint to match your colour scheme.

These faux-suede covered shutters (by The New England Shutter Company) are a luxurious, tactile option, whether in soft pastels or bold bright shades. They are hand stitched using a fabric that usefully does not stretch or fade. Faux leather is also an option and, in addition, the company can cover shutters in real leather, if supplied by the customer in their choice of colour and grain.
