Tier On Tier Shutters

Tier on tier (or double hung) shutters are designed to cover the whole window or door; the shutter panels are divided into top and bottom sections.

This versatile shutter style provides privacy whilst maximising light filtration into your room by allowing the top tier panels to be opened and folded back, whilst keeping the bottom closed for privacy. The bottom tier can also be opened, allowing full access to the window glazing.

DESIGNS

Made only from high quality sustainable wood, our shutters are available in a number of louvre designs; Highline, New England, Manhattan, Soho, New York, The White Collection, or any design of Solid shutter. These designs are not different wood types, but are made from high quality timber, rather than MDF or craft woods. Visit our London showroom to view our extensive range of styles and finishes.

FINISHES

Custom finished in any paint colour or hand stained, we will colour match to your unique requirements. In addition, choose from our luxury hand finished fabric shutters or from our large selection of sustainable natural wood species with exclusive TNESC finishes; oiled, limed wax or sandblasted.

Our shutters are designed specifically to your requirements and can be made with any width of stiles (the sides of shutters) and any depth of rails (the tops, middles and bottoms of shutters). We can make all this possible because we own our own joinery workshop which enables us to offer a short lead time and flexibility in every component of your shutter.
