After we were provided 4 quotes from other providers, we learnt about the shutters trade in the process and were not convinced we could trust any providers we had come across to deliver a outstanding job. Then, we visited the New England Shutters Company's showroom in London and felt we were dealing with professionals for the first time! Previous quotes given were only slightly cheaper (when cheaper) and did not include the craftmanship or quality timber New England provides.

The carpenter from New England was able to advise us on what would look best for our windows (first time, since all the previous visits involved the "well it's up to you" from people lacking the vision or qualification or the "you might need to change the window first, I know someone..." ).

The carpenter (Chris) from New England who measured the window was also the one who fitted the shutters and did an excellent job at fitting our shutters on uneven victorian windows, it can't have been that easy. Chris has been amazing throughout the process. He is a good listener, was very considerate of our space and professional. It's always better to work with people you feel you can trust from the beginning.

The result is simply beautiful, I didn't think looking at my new shutters would make me so happy ;-).  I won't have any hesitation to recommend TNESC in the future.  Very pleased!!! Vanessa

We have just had shutters fitted by Roger Meadows (TNESC Agent) throughout our new house. We have been very pleased with the installation and workmanship. We made the decision to fit shutters throughout the new-build house, based on aesthetic appeal and professionalism of the company rather than price alone. I'm writing to express my great satisfaction with both the product and the service provided by TNESC. I have had shutters installed across a bay window in an old house, which inevitably means uneven dimensions. Despite this, the shutters look beautiful and fit perfectly. The quality of the product speaks for itself, but as important has been the service provided by the team at TNESC. Paul, who came to measure and fit the shutters, did an outstanding job and is without doubt one of the most conscientious and thorough people I have dealt with over a long process of renovating the house. When I needed to delay the fitting of the shutters following their order TNESC were incredibly obliging and helpful. Overall this has been a faultless experience and the shutters really are of exactly the high standard I was hoping for having researched different providers online before choosing NESC.
