We recently designed, manufactured and installed these stunning bespoke solid wood Georgian shutters for an exclusive Mayfair Hotel in London.

Noise and light reduction was the priority for the owners’ guests and our director Nick worked closely with the designer to create the ideal solution. These bespoke, rebated Georgian panels were custom painted to match the beautiful décor and fitted with integral flush ring-pull handles. The solid wood tri-folding panels are hung with our custom-made L Frame using special butt hinges which match the existing antique brass fixtures.

Our sliding shutters glide over concealed sliding tracks, offering a sleek and practical solution to screen large glazed areas. It’s a simple way to create a private space behind sliding doors, glass walls and internal glass screens in offices.

As part of the complete and custom service delivered by The New England Shutter Team, our clients can choose from six stunning shutter designs, including solid or louvred shutters and bi-pass or bi-fold tracks. Offering flexibility in our designs allows our clients to create the perfect living space for their home.

Shutters installed on bi-pass sliding tracks are able to slide to any position, stack behind each other, or slide into wall cavities for a neat finish. A number of parallel tracks can be used with this system to create the perfect setup for your home. Or alternatively, bi-tracks enable multiple panels to be hinged together and folded open or closed, resulting in the shutters sitting at 90° to the track when they aren’t in use.
