Staining and colour matching has long been used by French polishers in the antique furniture trade. These same skills of traditional hand finishing are used by our experienced craftsmen to create beautifully finished shutters.

Our stained shutters are finished with protective oils that penetrate the wood to highlight the natural colours and enhance the grain while allowing the wood to breathe. Depending on sheen levels, lacquers can also be used.

We can supply stain samples however we prefer to match our shutters to your wood stain or colour sample particularly if you would like to colour match to your interior décor or a particular sheen level.
