Faux leather & suede shutters

Beautifully stitched faux leather and faux suede covered panels are exclusive to The New England Shutter Company.

Solid Tulip wood shutters are covered using faux leather or faux suede fabrics which are supplied to us by Majilite®. At the TNESC joinery workshop, our experienced tailors machine stitch the fabric and cover each tulipwood shutter by hand with incredible attention to detail. Majilite® fabric is UV stable and will not stretch, nor fade in sunlight. The faux leather is also stain resistant and easily wiped clean.

Soft pastel shades of suede work well in children’s bedrooms, whilst darker colours are mood enhancing and ideal for games or media rooms, gyms, libraries and studies. Neutral coloured suede and leather covered shutters create an eye catching effect through their texture rather than their colour – a super chic solution for modern living spaces. Panels may also be covered in fabric supplied by the client. TNESC will request a sample and confirm that the material is suitable to work with.
