Yacht Shutters
The New England Shutter Company offer a complete design service using shutters for yachts. Yacht shutters have become an increasingly popular choice over blinds or curtains as they offer clean lines, adjustable light and a luxurious finish to any shape of window.
The New England Shutter Company designed the shutters for the 48 Metre superyacht ‘Elizabeth F’ which was being re-fitted at Pendennis shipyard in 2007/8. The yacht was voted "Best Refit" by ShowBoats magazine in 2008 and was also a finalist of the Boat International World Superyacht Awards in 2008. We also created beautiful faux leather covered shutters for one of the worlds largest sailing yachts, which at the time was based in Monaco; ‘The Maltese Falcon’.
We designed and custom manufacture stunning Faux Leather ‘Baby Ostrich Putty’ Manhattan shutters with custom sized stiles and shaped corners to match the unique detailing on the MIRAGE yacht windows. Recently, the MIRAGE’s exceptional refit by Design Unlimited was highly commended at the World Superyacht Awards 2016 after winning up the coveted Neptune trophy in the Refitted Yachts category.

Our finishes include painted shutters in any colour, stains and solid hardwoods such as Ash, Teak, Oak and Walnut.
