We recently received these photographs from a very happy client in SE3, showcasing her new beautiful New England Shutters.

Designed and installed by our highly-skilled carpenters David and James, this set of Manhattan design shutters have transformed our client’s bedroom space.

Set on sliding tracks to maximise the natural light in the room, the shutters add style and sophistication to the room. The adjustable blades also promise total privacy, even when the balcony doors are open.

These shutters are a wonderful solution for decorating balcony doors or windows, as they keep your interior cool in the summer months and maintain your privacy.

Here at The New England Shutter Company, we strongly support sustainable forestry during the production of our shutters. Since opening our ethically-run factory in 2002, we have only sourced the woods from environmentally responsible suppliers.

We designed these shutters for the furniture and carpet shop Richard F. Mackay in Scotland, for their Neptune furniture display area.

We manufactured the shutters in two weeks and shipped them directly to Scotland.

Nick designed the shutters with a wide batten –150mm and then made 1 wide shutter with three sub-stiles fitted into the centre of the 150 batten. This made it very easy for the owners to install the shutters and complete their retail display.
